How did you both meet?
Ryan and I met at my apartment pool on a Sunday afternoon. We started hanging out with the same group of friends. For the Fourth of July a group of us were all supposed to go to North Carolina to stay with my family, everyone backed out except Ryan. Next thing we knew we were dating…and less than a year later engaged.
How did Ryan propose?
Ryan planned a surprise weekend trip for me to Amelia Island back in June. We had been talking about going to Amelia Island for a couple of months but never had a weekend off work. So when we pulled onto the island and then arrived at a bed and breakfast I was very surprised. As we walked into our room there were a dozen red roses, champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries. Also a note that said, “I want to spend the rest of my life with you.” When I turned around he was on one knee with a ring. Next thing I knew, his best friend came out of the bathroom taking pictures of the whole thing! We spent the rest of the weekend celebrating while on a mini vacation on Amelia Island.
