Krystal + Jorge
What inspired your vision for your wedding?
Jorge always wanted a beach wedding while I always envisioned a shabby chic/vintage wedding so I combined the two ideas with a lot of ideas from Pinterest and other sites and found our together vibe of a shabby chic beach cottage.
Which three details from your wedding were your favorites?
The blue mason jars down the isle. The tables we used for the cake and candy bar (My dad repainted the hutch! He did an awesome job.). And last but not least the wedding ceremony site. We loved that it had a private feel from all the trees around but we still got to have our beach wedding.
What was the one moment on your wedding day that is most memorable?
Krystal: Walking down the isle. I knew it was such a big moment for my dad to give me away and I couldn’t help but have tunnel vision focused on my soon to be husband.
Did you have something borrowed, something blue, and something new?
My veil was borrowed from my bridesmaid Angela. My sister sewed blue thread inside my dress moments before I was supposed to walk down the aisle when we realized I didn’t have something blue. My dress was my something new. My something old was the lace wrapped around my bouquet and it was from my mom’s wedding dress.
What details or traditions did you include in your celebration?
The only thing slightly different that I can think of is the sand pouring. Everything else was pretty traditional/normal.
