Jennifer + Andres
How did you and Andres meet? Andres and Jennifer met at the end of law school through their roommates who were friends. Jennifer was shy, but with a little push from her roommate, the two went out on their first date to Orsay Restaurant in Jacksonville, Florida, and the rest is history.
How did he propose? New York City during the month of December is Jennifer’s all time favorite place to be. Nothing is as magical as the holiday season in the City. Lucky for them, in December 2015, Andres and Jennifer were living in New York City. Unknown to Jennifer, Andres had prepared a weekend full of events and adventures during this magical time. Andres was never good at keeping secrets from Jennifer out of pure excitement, but he managed to keep this weekend under wraps. At the beginning of the weekend, Andres gave Jennifer a series of cards that were to be opened throughout the weekend. The cards led them to explore the City together in ways and places they had never experienced. To top off the weekend, Andres took Jennifer on a row boat in the middle of Central Park. This was something they had never done before and they were the only two people on the water. The sun was bright and it was a beautiful December day. Jennifer was given her last card of the weekend and when we she looked up, Andres had dropped to one knee in the row boat and asked Jennifer to marry him. She said YES!

What advice would you give other couples planning their wedding day? Our biggest advice to other couples is to take the time to sit back and enjoy your big day. So much time and effort goes into planning your perfect day that you can’t forget to enjoy it yourself with your special family and friends that have traveled so far to be with you.
