How did Arthur propose?
On February 11th, 2013 (a Tuesday) Arthur suggested we randomly go to dinner unexpectedly after work. After dinner he suggested we go for a walk, and we ended up at the Tuckahoe Mansion in Stuart, where we had first met. There, on the balcony there were candles and flowers – and he proposed.
What was the one moment on your wedding day that is most memorable?
Seeing Arthur for the first time at the Boca Resort
Did you have something borrowed, something blue, and something new?
I did not have anything “borrowed” in the end.
What details or traditions did you include on your wedding day?
We did an anniversary dance at the reception, instead of a bouquet toss, and gave away the bouquet to the longest married couple- which was my grandparents at 62 years married.
What advice do you have for couples currently planning a wedding?
For brides, the best advice I received was: once you decide on something for the wedding such as the bridesmaid’s dresses, flowers, cake, etc. stop looking or you will start questioning your decisions.
