Elysa + Ross
What inspired your vision for your wedding? My vision was inspired by Ross’ s country style and my elegant style. I had to come up with a way to incorporate them both so I came up with a classy rustic theme. My mom loves to decorate so she helped a lot to really enhance our vision.
What was your favorite design element of your wedding? My favorite design element was the aisle way and the candy table. My mom was responsible for that and she did an amazing job. The time and effort she spent was so beyond what I expected. Having her personal touch made our wedding feel more us.
What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day? The most memorable moment from the wedding is when the doors opened and I locked eyes with Ross. I was trying not to cry and he was crying. I just wanted to get down the aisle and kiss him!
Did you have something borrowed, something blue, and something new? My something borrowed was my mom’s veil. My something blue was the ribbion on my garter. My something new was my jewelry my mom bought me.
What was the biggest challenge you had to overcome while planning your wedding? The biggest challenge was the guest list. You want to invite everyone and before you know it there is 300 people on your list. Ross and I decided that we would only invite close friends and family and that is what we did. After countless nights of debating who should be on and who should be off… the guest list was complete.
