Brittany + Benjamin
How did you both meet? We met while attending the University of Florida through Ben’s twin brother, Jon. Jon and I knew each other from attending Chabad at UF. One Friday night, Jon convinced Ben to come to Chabad with him and that was the night that we met.
How did Benjamin propose? Benjamin proposed by taking me on a gondola in Fort Lauderdale. I totally knew that it was coming – he gets very nervous when he is trying to hide something!
What was your vision for your wedding day? Our vision was to create an elegant and timeless wedding. It was important to us for the day, and the ceremony especially, to feel intimate. We were able to bring our vision to life by placing candles literally everywhere and utilizing an ivory, blush, and gold color palette. We also created a more ethereal chuppah with curly willow and dendrobrium orchid blossoms.
Tell us about your beautiful wedding gown? I had been looking for a dress and I was ready to just give up when I finally found a dress that I loved at Boca Raton Bridal (which, by the way, was the 7th store I went to). I wanted a dress that was on the conservative side, but felt dreamy. I chose the Londyn gown by Hayley Paige, and Boca Raton Bridal added an illusion neckline and sleeves in order to fit my vision for the dress.
