Alyssa + Christian
In the summer of 2013, two people were introduced by mutual friends in Melbourne, Florida. Christian was living and working in town, while Alyssa was on break from school. When Alyssa graduated a few months later, she moved home. Christian and Alyssa had stayed in touch, and a seemingly inconsequential night with the same mutual friends (thanks, guys) sparked their relationship. This night was more pivotal than either Christian or Alyssa realized. The past three years have been made up of abounding love, growth, support, and friendship.
On December 4th, Christian took Alyssa on a spontaneous trip to St. Augustine under the guise of celebrating the end of her graduate school classes. Christian hid a ring in his leather jacket (in 70 degree weather), meanwhile Alyssa was none the wiser. He took her hand, and they walked along the water until they were alone on the sidewalk. He asked her, “Do you know how much I love you?” Alyssa replied, “Forever.” Christian got down on his knee and said, “Will you marry me?” And the rest is history!
