How did you and Matthew meet? Matt and I first met at a high school hockey game but did not truly date until we were in college. My family called him my “not boyfriend, boyfriend” for quite some time! Matt and I bonded over our love for the NY Rangers, dogs, and all things patriotic. We maintained a long distance relationship throughout college and even when I first moved to Florida from New York. It goes to show that distance does make the heart grow fonder.
How did he propose? Matt proposed on the intercoastal in Jupiter. It was a total surprise to me. I asked, “is this real?” and of course, he responded, “No, it’s from a crackerjack box.”
