How did you and Will meet? Nikki had recently moved to Miami and decided on a whim that she was going to spend the night out exploring what Brickell had to offer. She ended up at Blackbird Ordinary, where she noticed Will sitting off in the distance looking rather melancholy. She felt obligated to put a smile on his face so she proceeded to ask him to dance. Little did they know that this dance would change their lives forever.
How did he propose? Will proposed on top of a Seine River Cruise as we passed the Eiffel tower. He sang Nat King Cole’s “Darling, je vous aime beaucoup” and asked me to marry him.
What inspired your vision for your wedding? We wanted something classic and timeless. Will had my ring custom made with a sapphire, my birthstone, so that essentially was the inspiration behind the color scheme.
What advice would you give other couples planning their wedding? Be flexible, patient and open minded. Plan ahead and keep organized. There are times when planning an event can be super stressful, but always remember that at the end of the day all your loved ones will be there celebrating you. Yes there are things that can go wrong and might on the day of your wedding, but cherish every moment of that day because it goes by in a blink of an eye. The day is about your and your partner. Nothing else matters in the end. Cheers!
