Kassidy + Danny
How did you and Danny meet? It all began in 2004 when Danny and his family moved across the street from me. You could say our relationship was slow going since we didn’t officially start dating until the Summer of 2011, but our story is a rather interesting one. Danny was a high school baseball player and I was just the “little girl next door.” A few years passed and when Danny came home from college and I was finishing my high school career we reconnected again, but this time there were some sparks. On our first date we went mini golfing and the rest was history. We both knew we were meant to be together.
How did he propose? It was like any other Friday night going out with friends for dinner and drinks, or so I thought. Danny had pre-planned a magical evening that would change both our lives forever on the beach at our favorite restaurant. It was such a beautiful night, so I didn’t think anything of it when our friends wanted to take a picture of us with the Hillsboro Lighthouse in the distance. Next thing I know Danny got down on one knee and popped that infamous question as I laughed and started walking away because I thought he was joking. I mean it only took five years of dating! After I realized he was serious I was overwhelmed with joy and excitement… I think we both were. Of course I said yes before even looking at the ring and we cannot wait to see what our future has in store for us.
What do you envision for your wedding day? On our wedding day we envision all our family and closest friends gathering together to celebrate two lives coming together as one in what be a romantic and intimate setting. We’ve thought about our wedding day a lot and both of us wanted a somewhat big wedding, but small enough to where we could celebrate the day with each and every one of the people who are closest to us.
