Tess + Bryan
How did you and Bryan meet? Bryan and I met through mutual friends. We got to know each other better when Bryan joined the young professionals group that I used to manage for Northern Palm Beach County. His faux networking efforts paid off!
How did he propose? Bryan proposed at Nick & Johnnies in Palm Beach. It was the location of our first date.
The Chapel you were married in was simply beautiful. Please tell us about the Lost Tree Chapel? We fell in love with our venue as soon as we saw the Chapel at Lost Tree. It’s all white interior was so simple and still so beautiful that we knew it was the perfect place for a Florida wedding. We loved the tropical arrangements that our florist added to the windows.
Your wedding invitations were beautifully. Who was the designer? The graphic designer is Lilian-Marie Vides. She also did the calligraphy for our invitation addresses and reception place cards. She is very talented and detailed!
What inspired your vision for your wedding day? We wanted our wedding to be classic with touches of timeless elegance. I absolutely love the white and neutral color palette with the hints of mint green. Our wedding was in Spring so we wanted it to feel bright and cheerful.
What was your most memorable moment?There are so many special moments but the feeling when the Chapel doors opened and Bryan and I saw each other for the first time was so exciting. We did not do a first look so we knew it was going to be an emotional moment!
What advice would you give other couples planning their wedding? I would say to enjoy every moment because it goes by so fast! Although it didn’t feel like it at the time, even some of those first planning meetings stick out in my mind as very special. And, take lots of pictures!
