Jessica + Gabe
How did you both meet?
Gabe and I met in Mt. Laurel, NJ in October 2010. We were both selected for a 10 week financial training program through our previous employer. We were sat next to each other in class and formed a study group with a few other trainees. Our first date was dinner and a movie on October 10th, one week after the program started. We continued dating throughout the program, until it’s completion in December. We decided to continue our relationship long distance; Gabe went back to Florida, while I went home to Delaware. Over the next 11 months we visited each other’s families, explored new cities, and built a strong relationship. In September 2011, I secured a position with AT&T in South Florida and moved away from my hometown in Delaware to further grow my relationship with Gabe.
How did Gabe Propose?
Last summer, Gabe planned a romantic trip to Key West for Fourth of July weekend. He made reservations at a restaurant we love on Sunset Key called Latitudes. After dinner, we went back to our hotel, Casa Marina, where we watched fireworks on the beach. After the fireworks, Gabe and I walked along the private beach where he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
What do you envision for the wedding day?
Gabe and I, along with our families, have planned a romantic wedding in Key West for October 10, 2015 (the day before our 5 year anniversary). We are having our ceremony at St Mary’s Catholic Church, followed by a cocktail hour and reception at Casa Marina (where Gabe proposed). Gabe and I want our wedding to be beautiful, memorable, and one hell of a party!
