What was the one moment on your wedding day that is most memorable?
C: There were so many! The one that comes to mind is the moment the doors opened with my dad on my arm. I vividly remember looking down the aisle at my husband to be and thinking, I really love this man! That is also when I was able to see my vision come to life for the first time. You spend so many months planning and hoping everything turns out exactly how you want it when you really have no idea what it will look like when the details come together. When those doors open and it’s go time…nothing else really matters, but all I could think was…everything is perfect!
Q: I would have to go with the first look. I got weak in the knees when I turned around and almost fell to the ground, literally. My expectations were already high because Chan is so incredibly gorgeous but I was completely unprepared for when I saw her that day. Unimaginable beauty.
What inspired your vision for your wedding?
C: Elegance. Romance. Timeless. I wanted a soft color pallet to give it a feeling of elegance and romance.

If there is any information you would like to share about your day please feel free to do so?
C: We would just like to say thank you to all the vendors and guests that made it out. You have all truly made this the best weekend of our lives. Thank you.
Q: One last tip, put the time resources, and money together to preserve and document your special day as much as possible. The wedding lasts a day, your memory lasts however long it’s going to last, but the pictutes last forever. We’re very happy we chose Poirier Photography.
What advice do you have for couples currently planning a wedding?
C: You’ll hear this a thousand times over but…take time to sit back and enjoy the moment. I’m so thankful that I had the privilege of taking a step back and simply soaked in my surroundings so many times throughout the day. Oh, and don’t get caught up in the details! Telling myself that throughout this process has been a lifesaver!
Q: Take the time to be present during your wedding. Chantel and I both had collective and individual moments to soak it all in. By the end of our wedding day neither of us thought, “Boy that flew by.” You’ve spent a long time, sometimes a lifetime, preparing for this day… take the time to enjoy it.
