Joelle + Jason’s Wyndham Deerfield Beach Wedding / Deerfield Beach Wedding Photographers

Joelle + Jason

What inspired your vision for your wedding?

The vision for our wedding was inspired by a beach sunset. Our color theme included different shades of pink, purple, coral, and orange. These are the colors that reflect when the sun begins to set on the beach after a warm summer day.  We chose this because we got engaged in Florida. We wanted to have a beach wedding in December on the 8th which is the day after Jason’s birthday (the 7th) and the day before Joelle’s birthday (the 9th). This was also the day we started dating, 6 years ago.

Which three details from your wedding were your favorites?

Our three favorite details from our wedding would include 1) the perfect weather we had the day of the ceremony 2) the fact that all of our closest friends and family flew in from different parts of the country to be a part of our special day and 3) even though over a hundred people stopped what they were doing on the beach to watch our ceremony, we still felt as if it was just us two and our only focus was each other.

What was the one moment on your wedding day that is most memorable?

The one moment of our wedding day that was most memorable was our “first look”. The anxious feeling we both had leading up to that moment is completely indescribable and a once in a lifetime feeling.

Did you have something borrowed, something blue, and something new?

Something old – a locket that belonged to Joelle’s great grandmother that had a picture of her great grandmother & great grandfather when they were around our age.

Something new – Joelle’s bracelet given to her by her sister/maid of honor Dena

Something borrowed – Joelle borrowed and wore her mothers “mother” ring on her right hand. The ring has the birthstones of her, Joelle and Joelle’s sister/maid of honor Dena.

Something blue -Joelle’s underwear :):) haha

What details or traditions did you include in your celebration?

We had a very non traditional ceremony and reception. We loved the casual yet semi formal feel and the fact that no one was wearing shoes 🙂 Our reception was a party and we had the time of our lives. We wouldn’t change a moment of our special day.. Well, maybe we would add a little bit more champagne 🙂
