What was the one moment on your wedding day that is most memorable?
When we saw each other for the first time!
Did you have something borrowed, something blue, and something new?
My something borrowed was my parents original wedding bands and a bracelet from my mother-in-law. My something blue was my garter, and my something new was a necklace from my hubby.
Did you decide to do a “first look”?
Yes, and it was the best decision we could have made. It created an intimate moment that we could share and take in with each other without any distractions.
Tell us about some of the songs you used throughout your wedding and why you choose them.
We choose to play The Wedding Song by Peter, Paul and Mary during our sand ceremony. It was an older song, but had special meaning because it was used during Kim’s parents ceremony at their wedding.
What advice do you have for couples currently planning a wedding?
Don’t let the small details stress you out. They seem so important, but when it is all said and done everything will come together perfectly. Take it all in, because it goes by way too quickly.
