You know you are in Singer Island once you see the seaman statue just over the Blue Heron Bridge at the entrance of Phil Foster Park. The giant grizzled skipper with hands at the wheel has been there since 1983. Singer Island was the perfect location for our boating couple. They began their day getting ready at the Marriot on Singer Island before boarding the adorable Sailfish Marina trolley for their ceremony & reception. Kristin had her girls in soft flowing coral dresses with coral colored roses. The guys wore tan suits with blue ties and with their rose boutonnières it was the prefect touch of color. Steve wore a matching tan suit with a fish stenciled pink tie, how cute. His bride had a beautiful long cathedral veil with an orchid in her hair and a bright pink bouquet of peonies, I just love those flowers. Everyone was perfect with soft touches of color & it blended beautifully with their seaside themed wedding. They were married on the intercostal at the Sailfish Marina just before sunset. After their romantic ceremony they were greeted with hugs & kisses from their family & friends wishing them both many years of love & happiness. Just before the sunset we photographed Kristin & Steve and it wasn’t hard to get Kristin to smile because she was so excited about her day, she was smiling ear to ear all day long. It is truly the best location inPalm Beachfor a sunset photo & after the photos it was off to the reception where the tables were covered with silk pink linens and pieces of coral at each place setting. Their cake was decorated with edible coral & white chocolate seashells & starfish. Kristin had a groom’s cake made for Steve of a Pittsburgh Steelers football helmet & on the other side of the helmet was a Baltimore Ravens logo, she is a big Ravens fan. It is truly a house divided on Sundays! It was a great wedding and we had a wonderful time with everyone. Thank you, Kristin & Steve for allowing us to capture your special day!
