What was the one moment on your wedding day that is most memorable?
Definitely our ceremony. Standing up there, holding hands with Ian with tears in both our eyes as we read our vows to each other was the most amazing moment that I’ve ever had!
Did you have something borrowed, something blue, and something new?
Yes! I borrowed Ian’s grandmother’s jewelry, my toenails were blue and my dress was new!
What details or traditions did you include on your wedding day?
My favorite detail that we included was that Ian wore my beloved grandfather who passed away in 2007’s bow tie. We included all the wonderful Jewish traditions like the sheva brachot, breaking the glass and multiple horas!
What advice do you have for couples currently planning a wedding?
It’s all in the details! Everyone notices those little personal and unique touches that you throw in there. Also, brides remember that this day is for you AND your husband to be, not just you!
What was your inspiration for your wedding day?
We wanted a glamorous 1920’s vintage feel. A Gatsby party dripping with romantic, personal touches.
