Bruna + Thomas
How did we meet?
It all started in Mrs. Whites English class at Park Vista High School our junior year. Thomas was the football jock and I was the quiet, shy girl. At 1st I did not really like Thomas because I thought he was the typical jock. But boy was I wrong and as we grew closer as friends I realized how wonderful of a person he really was. Thomas fell hard for me and we gave the dating world a try our junior year. Thomas swept me off my feet and treated me like a princess from the 1st day we started dating, and the rest as they say is history.
How did Thomas propose?
It was December 26th, 2015. Thomas had told me that we were having a suprise birthday party for his mother. He had me get all dressed up for the “party” that was going to be at a cute little Italian restaurant we always go to as a family. When I arrived I was led out to the patio area of the restaurant to see my mother standing there holding flowers for me. From that moment I knew what was happening. Behind my mother was Thomas standing in a heart made out of rose petals and candles. One of our close friends was playing Ed Sheerans “Thinking out loud” on his guitar. With all of our family and very close friends there, Thomas dropped to his knee and asked if I would make him the most blessed man on Earth and marry him. With tear rushing down my eyes I screamed yes and here we are now.
Most memorable moment from the photo shoot?
Although we loved every moment of our photo shoot and felt like celebrities every moment of the shoot, there was a moment that really stood out for us. Toward the end of our shoot we were driving back to our car to leave, we were driving past the intracoastal and we saw the sun setting over the buildings. Stacey and Brandon stopped the car quickly and told us to hurry to ledge of the intracoastal wall because the shot was perfect. We hurried as fast as we could to the ledge and we were told we got the perfect shot. Although we loved every minute of the shoot from the very first picture that was our best memory of the shoot.
How do we envision our wedding day?
We envision our wedding as a culmination of love from the past 6 1/2 years. We see it as the day that we will be able to call our best friend our spouse as well. We see it as a special day with our family and very close friends and a day that will be filled with a lifetime of memories. Thomas is so excited to see Bruna in her wedding dress for the first time and doesn’t know if he will be able to contain his emotions. Bruna says she envisions the day as the happiest day of her life. We cannot wait for the day June 10, 2017!
