Leah + Daniel
Most couples get engaged and immediately start planning their wedding. Well, for Leah and Daniel they had some major obstacles to over come before their big day. It was the weekend of their engagement, July of 2011, when they discovered Leah had breast cancer. Daniel was by her side through all of the chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation all the way through to 2012. Toward the end of Leah’s cancer battle they were dealt another curve ball, Daniel was deployed to Afghanistan for 180 days. Despite their hardships they remained positive and even joked about how Leah can be in full charge of their wedding planning and Daniel got the long engagement he always wanted. They survived it all and knew they were truly meant to be together! In Leah’s words “they are the strongest couple she knows” and I agree! Their wedding day was a very happy occasion with family & friends from all over ready to celebrate with Leah & Daniel. It was a grand celebration for a most deserving couple! The bridesmaids wore floor length purple gowns while carrying a beautiful bouquet of orchids, calla lilies and hydrangeas. The groomsman wore the classic black suit with purple ties to coordinate with the girls. Leah was simply glowing in her sweetheart cut wedding gown and ready to walk down the aisle to meet her “knight in shinning armor.” Daniel stood at the alter looking very debonair in his classic black suit with orchid & peacock feather boutonniere. Their ceremony was performed under the Marriott gazebo overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in the background. After the beautiful ceremony we were off to their reception which was decorated by the It Girls with dazzling crystals, glowing candles, sweet smelling flowers and elegant colorful up-lighting. Their evening was filled with lots of dancing and a grand toast from her bridesmaids & father. It was a joyous occasion and we wish Leah & Daniel many years of love and happiness!
