What was the one moment on your wedding day that is most memorable? -Most memorable, our first dance …it felt like all the stress was behind us and we were finally married, happy and in love.
Tell us about your custom shoes? For my shoes I wanted to do something special, so I hand painted both of our names and the wedding date on my shoes using colors that matched the theme of our wedding. Now, every time I look at them I know those were the shoes that I wore on the best day of my life.
Did you have any special gifts for your bridesmaids? I wrote them a letter thanking them for being there and what lead me in choosing them to witness our day up close by my side. I also made mason jars matching our theme, filled with accessories for all my bridesmaids. The girls looked gorgeous in them.
What inspired your vision for your wedding? I wanted a fall wedding because its my favorite season of the year. Ryan and I decided to search for the perfect fall colors and cute items to go along with it. I couldn’t be any happier, the room looked great!
What was the funniest moment at your wedding? There were so many funny moments at our wedding. Maybe it was because we were so happy that day, but all I remember were laughs throughout the night. But, if I had to pick one moment, it was during our first dance when one of my friends yelled “I love you Papi” trying to mock my accent. That was hilarious and since I was crying, it helped me get it together.
What advice do you have for couples currently planning a wedding? To the people planning a wedding, don’t stress yourself out so much. At the end all that matters is that finally, in front of all your family and friends you are happily married. The night goes by so fast, so please enjoy every second.
