Catherine + Tim
What was the one moment on your wedding day that is most memorable?
Definitely the first look. I (the bride) was trying to keep my emotions bottled up the whole day. The moment I turned the corner and saw Tim I just instantly started crying. It was a special moment and we were able to share it privately.
What inspired your vision for your wedding?
The theme we went for was part rustic and part classic. We also focused on just ensuring everyone was going to have a blast, because we felt that’s what people remember most.
What was the funniest moment at your wedding?
There were many funny moments. The top 3 were definitely the bridal party entrance (my brother and cousin used baby powder as smoke for their entrance), the speeches, and seeing everyone (even elderly) take fireball shots!
What advice do you have for couples currently planning a wedding?
Your wedding day is going to fly by. Try to plan the day in a way you will be able to enjoy it most. We did our first look and pictures before the ceremony which allowed us to actually enjoy cocktail hour with our family and friends. Right after the ceremony our coordinator ordered us to have a few minutes alone somewhere. This gave us a little time to just enjoy the moment. We also made sure we sat down and had dinner together. Because we did things like this, I truly felt we slowed the night down and enjoyed our wedding day as much as we could have.
