Ariel + Jared
How did you and Jared meet? Jared and I met in the 6th grade at Jupiter Christian School. We started dating our sophomore year of high school and dated the remainder of high school and college, where we both attended Palm Beach Atlantic University.
What was the one moment on your wedding day that is most memorable? The most memorable moment of our wedding day was walking down the aisle and seeing each other for the first time. This was a day we had dreamed about for many years, and it was surreal to finally be walking down the aisle. It was such pure joy. Another sweet moment for Ariel was when Jared sung and played her favorite love song, Beloved by Tenth Avenue North, during the ceremony.
What inspired your vision for your wedding? The vision for our wedding was simple elegance. We wanted our day to represent our relationship and the love that God has blessed us with. Throughout the years we have had so many memories, and we wanted to reminisce on these throughout our wedding day. We had photos of us throughout the years everywhere: our guest book containing all of our engagement photos; a video we made of baby photos, photos of our relationship and a recording of our proposal that was showed at our reception; and the tables in our reception were distinguished by photos of us instead of the traditional table numbers!
If there is any information you would like to share about your day please feel free to do so? It was so special to get married at our church, Living Oaks Ministries. Jared’s dad is the pastor of our church, and Jared is the youth pastor and worship leader. We have had so many memories at church, and it holds such a dear place in both of our hearts. It was truly a blessing to have our church family and youth group kids present, along with all our close family and friends.
What advice do you have for couples currently planning a wedding? Enjoy the process! It goes by so fast, and it is such an exciting time. On your wedding day, stop throughout the day and allow yourself to soak in all the memories you can, look into each other’s eyes and enjoy this special time together.
