How did you and Jason meet? We both grew up in Coral Springs, Florida and have known each other since middle school and high school. After graduating from high school, we both went off to attend college in different cities. We finally reconnected at our 10 year high school reunion and started dating several years later after messaging each other one day randomly…..we have been inseparable ever since.
How did he propose? He proposed on Valentine’s Day in Mizner Park at the spot where we had our first kiss. He was super nervous and adorable, and almost forgot to get down on 1 knee. We then went to the Dubliner for a celebratory drink where he surprised me with our family and friends.
Tell us about the personal cufflinks for Jason and your dad? I just wanted to get special personalized cufflinks that had a sweet message, so they could have them as a keepsake forever. Jason’s cufflinks said “Let’s Do This. 12.19.15” & “Love you Always & Forever” and my dad’s cufflinks said “Father of the Bride” & “Always Your Little Girl”. My dad’s cufflinks were a surprise. I didn’t tell him about them and told Jason to hand them to him when he was getting dressed. Jason says my Dad was really emotional when he saw them.
What was your most memorable moment? Jason’s most memorable moment of the wedding was the First Look when he finally got to see me all dressed up in my wedding gown and had our own special, private moment. My most memorable moment of the wedding was our first dance and getting to slow dance to the song we picked out, as I sung the words to him.
What inspired your vision for your wedding day? We loved the lantern idea for the ceremony and place cards. Loved the idea of them lighting up and giving a special glow. We chose to pick blush and gold as our colors, as we wanted to give a soft & romantic feel to the wedding.
